Sony NW-A810 Preview / Sony Has Learned The Lesson September 17, 2007

Sony finally has learned the lesson. The latest incarnation of the A and S series players are out in shop now - without Sony Sonic Stage or any annoying software gluing a music player to and only to one certain software.
While Apple is trying to make the utmost not to let people use other software than iTunes to fill music, Sony is going the other way ’round. Finally.
Just connect the latest A or S series player to ANY computer - Windows, Apple, Linux, no matter - and drag and drop any files you’d like to. That’s it.
Alternatively you can use the Playstation 3, just select “copy to USB drive”, and that’s it.
Sony has added an option to playback the latest Windows Media DRM protected files which makes these players “Napster-compatible”. Great for your music flatrate. But only if you like to. It’s you choice. Great, Sony! Finally, Sony!
Let the people decide what they do or not with their devices!

yeah, but nw-a3000 still needs ss to work. Need new firmware.
I wish we had a firmware adding this feature to NW series.
I mean NW-E series.
