All About Sony And Myself…

I am still awaiting the arrival of my iPhone 16GB. It’s sold out here in Germany at T-Mobile nationwide. The customer support hotline could not communicate a delivery date. So my review will be delayed

Yes, it sounds unbelievable but I am going to be an iPhone owner in a couple of days. And I am going to write a review from a perspective of a Sony Fanboy. Naturally, I am not a friend of Apple and their products at all. Since now I didn’t own a single Apple product. But Apple has much in common with Sony in their glorious days. They don’t just push another product of category x on the market but they make new markets in redefining. What I mean: Sony had the Walkmen. They were breathtaking products and leading mobile music players of the former century. It wasn’t possible to move this product to the digital area just without really redefining it. Apple did it - the iPod. And out came a cult object (like the Walkman). But now Apple was and is the leader. Sony Ericsson pushed a lot of great mobile phones on the market. All of them innovative and leaders in their product categories. But the software was and is buggy, the system is not foolproof and far to slow in response. They included every technology but let the customer out in the rain on how to utilise. Apple did not include every possible technology into the iPhone but set the user experience in the foreground. Technology for the customer.

I am fed up with buggy software, far to slow systems, bulky UIs and medicore “media experience”.

Ich gebe mein P1i zurück. Auch wenn ich es “geschäftlich” gebrauchen könnte.

Ich jedenfalls habe die Schnauze voll. Auch als SE-Anhänger. Betriebssystem-Handys kommen mir erst wieder ins Haus,
auch für die Arbeit, wenn sie was taugen und zuverlässig funktionieren.

Ich muss mich doch auf mein Handy verlassen können, stell Dir vor, die Software meines Autos wäre so sch*** ?
Bremsen? Das geht gerade nicht, kein Zugriff auf den Speicher?! Bitte an der nächsten Raststätte aussteigen,
Image draufspielen, vorher Daten sichern. Motor starten? Dauert locker mal 30 Sekunden.

Ich finde, der Vergleich ist NICHT weit hergeholt. Ich bewundere jeden, der es lange mit einem M600i aushält.
Nee, ich hätte es schon längst zerlegt.

Ich steige auf das W890i um. Das W890i ist im Augenblick eines der besten Handys der Welt, auch in den Fachzeitschriften und den Magazinen im Internet, überall unter den Top 5. Hightlights, die keine sind, weil sie eigentlich selbstverständlich sein müßten,
aber so weit ist es schon:

- Handy startet in weniger als 5 Sekunden
- Jede Anwendung geht fast verzögerungsfrei auf
- Handy stürzt so gut wie nie ab
- Handy startet sich NICHT für bessere Leistungsfähigkeit NEU

Und dabei:
- Es hat HSDPA, schaufelt mehr als 3Mbit pro Sekunde ins Laptop übers T-Mobile Netzwerk (schneller als mein DSL-Zugang)
- Hat einen vollständigen Webbrowser
- Hat mindestens genauso vollständig wie das P1i die Möglichkeit für RSS Feeds
- Emails, Termine, Kontakte, Aufgaben… Alles dran, alles drin
- Keine sch*** PC Suite sondern etwas ganz anderes innovatives von SE wo Du super übersichtlich ALLES auf den PC kriegst und
synchronisieren kannst (auch SMS, Klingeltöne…)
- Umgebungsprofile (Besprechung, Laut, Draußen) - fehlt Dir das nicht auch beim M600i?
- Frei belegbare Shortcuts: Bluetooth an? Steuerkreut nach oben - Taskmanager (JA, das gibt es auch!!!): Steuerkreuz nach rechts…
- Fetter Walkman Player 3.0 mit Bässen die Dir das Trommelfell massieren - lies mal Testberichte Könnte DEIN Walkman sein

Also: Was spricht noch für Symbian Handys bzw. M600i oder P1i? Die Tastatur. Mensch ich pfeiff so was von drauf!!!!!!!!!!!!!
