All About Sony And Myself…

Auf dem Mobile World Congress hat Sony Ericsson Einblick gegeben in die neue Produktlinie Xperia. Das Xperia X1
(oder X890i) ist kein Ersatz für das kommende Sony Ericsson P3i. Dazu später mehr.

Als erstes Smartphone von Sony Ericsson wird das Xperia mit Windows Mobile betrieben. Hier die Eckdaten:

• Inhaltsbasiertes Multimediamenü: Das Startmenü ist nach Aufgaben gegliedert, also “Musik hören”, “Kontakte suchen” unsw. Es lernt durch die Vorlieben der Nutzer und die Panels können nach Belieben “ausgetauscht” werden.
• 3 Zoll VGA Screen mit 800×480 Pixeln Auflösung und leider nur 65500 Farben
• HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS, EDGE, WLAN 802.11b/g
• Assisted GPS (A-GPS with GPS Receiver built-in)

• Touchscreen, durch Gesten steuerbar, zusätzlich
• 5 Wege Steuerkranz und Stylus
• Highspeed Prozessor für MPEG4/AVC Decoding und Videoaufnahme in VGA-Auflösung mit 640×480 Pixeln, 30 Bilder/sek.
• 400MB interner Speicher
• Memory Stick M2 Steckplatz
• 110mm x 17mm x 53mm, 145gr.
• Vollwertige Tastatur
• Windows Mobile Startmenü und Oberfläche durch “Xperia”-Anwendungen und Panels ersetzt
• Trotzdem voller Windows Mobile Funktionsumfang wie Outlook, Excel, Word…

Noch ausstehend ist der Nachfolger des P1i, das dem Xperia X1 sehr ähnlich sein wird; mehr Infos gibt es zur CeBit.

Update: Das Xperia X1 kommt mit Windows Mobile 6.1, das zahlreiche wirklich sinnvolle Neuerungen bietet. Da dieses Betriebssystem noch in den “Labs” ist, geben sie Sony Ericsson Mitarbeiter das Gerät nicht aus der Hand. Hier sind Bilder:

Update: Das Xperia X1 kommt ganz sicher mit einem Micro SD Card Slot. Es wird von HTC hergestellt im Auftrag von Sony Ericsson Später 2008 wird auch ein Cyber-shot branded X Series Handy vorgestellt. Spezielles Augenmerk auf Fotografie.

Update: Es wird keinen Nachfolger mehr des P1i geben. Das wirklich innovative Tastenlayout des P1i/M600i ist gestorben. Die Xperia Serie wird noch ausgebaut werden und ist die erste Wahl für “Geschäftsleute”. Dabei ist nicht gesagt, dass alle Geräte aus der Xperia Serie mit Windows Mobile kommen, Symbian ist ebenso denkbar. Das G900i wäre sicher für viele ein Update auf das P1i.

 
Sony Germany has announced that a 16GB Memory Stick Pro Duo will be available throughout Europe for about 220 Euros in March 2008. This Memory Stick Pro Duo will be compatible with the Sony Playstation Portable and the Sony PS3 as well as all 2007/2008 Cybershot-Cameras and Handycams.

as I have told to you, Sony Ericsson is going to incorporate the Sony Media Manager by Sony Media Software USA for their Walkman. I got some very promising news from some Sony fellows that there will be a point where all devices - Sony Ericsson Walkman, Sony Playstation Portable and Sony Network Walkman - use this software. Yesterday, Sony Ericsson Germany introduced several great new phones at Spindler und Klatt Club in Berlin. Among them, the W910i was certainly - together with the K850i and the W960i - the most interesting one.

Only 12mm in height and 88gr in weight it features the best sounding music player ever in a mobile phone and certainly a world class player when compared to stand alone ones. By using the integrated HSDPA service you can purchase and download music tracks from Sony Ericsson’s own independent m-buzz store fast and convenient. The m-buzz store finally opens these days.

You can shake or move your W960i to change tracks. You can use the “Emotion Navigator” SenseMe to find the right music for your current emotion. There is no more Disc2Phone Software. The new Media Manager Software is very similiar to the Playstation Portable Media Software and can manage Podcasts as well. What is really new that you can manage and listen to podcasts as well as subscribe to a podcast directly from the W910i. The Media Manager in the phone manages all kinds of media in one user interface.

The Walkman 3.0 Player is equipped with the same qualities that you already find in the smartphone W950i. But what is new: These qualities are transported out of (Symbian) Smartphones into “normal” phones.

 I am really overwhelmed. Sony Ericsson is going to beat Samsung and Motorolas position very soon and will be a world leader together with Nokia.

Sony Ericsson Germany held a press conference in Berlin today evening. They announced a bunch of new phones, including the 8GB W960i Mobile Phone with Touchscreen. Everybody was overwhelmed because with the latest line-up Sony Ericsson turned into a real world leader of the phone manufactures. I will introduce today evening the K850i and the W960i.

SanDisk has announced that the highly awaited Memory Stick Micro M2 4GB will be available soon throughout Europe. There is no price tag at the moment. Sure, that the 2GB Memory Stick Micro M2 cards will free fall in price.

Es ist geplant, die angekündigten Produkte zusätzlich zum bestehenden „α“-System einzuführen, das sich derzeit aus dem Sony α100 Kameragehäuse, sowie 21 Wechselobjektiven (inklusive der Carl Zeiss®-Wechselobjektive) und mehr als 45 Zubehörteilen zusammensetzt.

„Wir wollen unsere Position auf dem Markt für digitale Spiegelreflexkameras weiter stärken. Um dieses Ziel zu erreichen, müssen wir unterschiedliche Kundenanforderungen erfüllen. Wir arbeiten derzeit an der zweiten Welle von Produkten, um die ‚α’-System-Welt weiter auszubauen“, erklärte Toru Katsumoto, verantwortlicher Leiter der AMC-Division für digitale SLR-Produkte von Sony, auf der Pressekonferenz von Sony Electronics Inc. „Wir entwickeln speziell zwei neue Kameras für höhere Marktsegmente im Vergleich zur ,α100’.“

Das erweiterte Line-up des „α“-Systems bietet unseren Kunden verschiedene Alternativen und die Möglichkeit ihr Equipment mit wachsender Erfahrung zu erweitern. Die zweite Produktreihe umfasst ebenfalls Wechselobjektive, die für anspruchsvolle Amateure und professionelle Anwender ausgelegt sein werden. „Wir sind davon überzeugt, dass das erweiterte ‚α’-Portfolio mit unterschiedlichen Kameragehäusen und Wechselobjektiven unseren Kunden maximale Kreativität erlaubt. Das ‚α’-System erschließt das volle Potenzial digitaler Spiegelreflexkameras“, beendete Katsumoto seine Rede.
Erweitertes „α“-PortfolioEiner der vorgestellten Prototypen ist ein Kameragehäuse mit einer höheren Positionierung als die aktuelle „α100“ und ist für ambitionierte Amateure und semiprofessionelle Anwender gedacht. Das geplante neue Kameramodell wird mit einem neuen Bildsensor und einem neuen BIONZ-Bildprozessor (beide noch in der Entwicklung) eine noch höhere Bildqualität liefern.

Die neue Kamera wird außerdem mit dem integrierten Verwacklungsschutz „Super SteadyShot“ ausgestattet sein und funktioniert so als Bildstabilisierung für alle „α“-Objektive.

Der zweite Prototyp ist als Topmodell des „α“-Systems geplant: Als High-End Kamera wird es den anspruchsvollen Anforderungen von Profifotografen gerecht und verfügt ebenfalls über einen neuen Bildsensor und BIONZ-Bildprozessor sowie den integrierten Verwacklungsschutz „Super SteadyShot“.

Eine der beiden angekündigten Kameras wird noch in diesem Kalenderjahr eingeführt.

Weiterhin wurden acht Prototypen von Wechselobjektiven aus der aktuellen Entwicklung vorgestellt, darunter ein lichtstarker Standard-Zoom, ein Tele-Zoom, ein lichtstarker Weitwinkel-Zoom, ein Super-Tele-Zoom und folgende Festbrennweiten: ein Super-Tele-Objektiv, ein Tele-Objektiv, ein Weitwinkel- und ein lichtstarkes Weitwinkel-Objektiv.

In den nächsten zwölf Monaten plant Sony die Einführung von mindestens fünf Objektiven für semiprofessionelle und professionelle Anwendungen, darunter 24-70 mm F2.8; 70-300 mm F4.5-5.6 und DT18-250 mm F3.5-6.3 aus dem „α“-System.
