Ich habe niemanden von Euch vergessen und meine Website und Eure Kommentare immer im Auge behalten.

Ich wurde in der vergangenen Zeit von vielen heftigen Schicksalsschlägen heimgesucht. Unter anderem ist mein lieber Vater gestorben. Vieles hat mich zurückgeworfen.

Ich möchte wieder nach Vorne schauen! Ab sofort wieder neue Beiträge und demnächst Updates für Radio Genie und Photoloc.

Photoloc ist vorübergehend ab heute aus dem App Store entfernt worden.

Photoloc is an extremely useful and easy-to-use application for your iPhone or your iPod Touch. The iPhone saves GPS location data embedded in your images – but till now there was no application which simply could read out this information and display it in Google Maps. Without in need to upload to Flickr first. Ever wanted to know when you’ve taken a particular image? Here all your whishes might become true. It’s so easy to use Photoloc! Just start the application and within a few seconds it will scan all your images from your images folder and read out the EXIF Tags. Right now you get GPS Longitude, GPS Latitude and the corresponding GPS Longitude Refrence and GPS Latitude Reference. Furthermore, you can sort your pictures by filename or date. Finally. The built-in Photo-App won’t show you anything. One tap on a table view cell beams you right to Google Maps where you can see where you have been! There is even GPS Reverse Geotagging! Read more!

Es ist so einfach Photoloc zu benutzen! Starten Sie einfach die Applikation und innerhalb von ein paar Sekunden bekommen Sie alle Bilder aus Ihrem Bilder-Ordner mit EXIF Tags zurückgeliefert. Sie sehen auf einen Blick, wo und wann Sie ein Bild aufgenommen haben. Einfacher geht es nicht! Außerdem können Sie endlich auch entweder nach Dateinamen oder Aufnahmedatum sortieren! Die eingebaute Photo App bietet keinerlei Möglichkeiten! Wenn Sie auf eine Tabellenzeile Ihrer Wahl tippen, werden Sie zu Google Maps gebracht, und Sie können sofort sehen, wo Sie das Photo aufgenommen haben. Es gibt auch die Möglichkeit von GPS Reverse Geotagging!

No turn on “Location Details”. Better use a fast UMTS/HSDPA or WLAN connection to the internet when using this feature as Photloc queries the Google Maps Services for Reverse Geotagging for each of your picture.

Jetzt schalten Sie “Location Details” an. Benutzen Sie besser eine schnelle UMTS/HSDPA oder WLAN Verbindung ins Internet, wenn Sie diese Funktion nutzen. Photoloc fragt nämlich für jedes Ihrer Photos den Google Maps Service für Reverse Geotagging ab.
